Welcome to Mema Makes the Dough
Where every bake is made from scratch using simple, wholesome ingredients and traditional sourdough methods.
“Mema” is the name my first grandchild gave me—and it became one of the greatest gifts of my life.
As a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, my heart has always been rooted in caring for others. For me, that care has always been expressed through food made from scratch.
I believe in real ingredients, slow baking, and doing things the right way. That belief naturally led me to sourdough—where time, patience, and care turn simple ingredients into something deeply nourishing.
Even while living full-time in our RV, I continue to bake and grow what I can in small pots. It’s proof that meaningful food doesn’t require a perfect space—just love and intention.
